Self-Discovery Begins Here!

Pre-Kindergarten is the gateway to a child’s first learning experience. It is the foundation upon which we will build your child’s academic, social and emotional well-being. We at the Barrett are committed to ensuring that we meet all students’ needs in collaboration with families.

Dear Barrett Russell Families,

As we begin another school year together, I want to thank you for your partnership, support and collaboration. This year's theme is Together We Can. This means that we are focusing on partnering together so that your child learns and grows not only academically but socially and emotionally. We as a school community want to focus on creating a positive school environment where you feel welcome and supported. Pre-Kindergarten is your child’s first experience with the Brockton Public Schools, and we want to ensure that this is a positive experience for not only your child but for your family as well.

Throughout the school year, I will be sending out important information via S'more Newsletters. Please be sure to check these weekly so you do not miss out on anything important! We are also looking to strengthen our school/family partnerships this year. I would encourage you to join our Parent Advisory Council (PAC) that will meet monthly. Please reach out to me via email or phone if you are interested in joining us!

I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!
Marybeth Callanan
Principal
